Drifting

Take me away.
Wrap me in your arms,
And take me away.

Let's just drift away,
Float through the clouds, over trees.
Run through the forest,
Breathing the pine scented air.
Follow streams which sparkle with the elusive sunlight,
Down to the wrinkled sea.

Dive in.
Sink below the waves to the deep,
Where the tides don't matter.
Dance with the fish,
Walk on the bed,
Then just let go.

Wash up on a distant shore,
Feel the sand beneath our feet.
Walk along, happy,
Or just lie here forever.

Take me away.
